History
In 1994, Woodwaves was founded by furniture veterans Alex and Wayne. We initially specialized in manufacturing wood tambour and furniture components for the US market. Alex handled design and day to day business and Wayne handled manufacturing and the technical end. Before and during that time, Alex helped run his family's other furniture corporation while Wayne custom built the assembly machinery that enabled us to manufacture the highest quality tambour and wood products at a fair price. In 2010, we introduced our exclusively designed handcrafted Modern furniture line. This product is hand made in our facilities and partner facilities that meet our strict requirements. With our experience, our goal is to create unique and original pieces that blend with current and iconic designs.
Facility
Our manufacturing facilities are located in Baja California, Mexico and our Live Edge Slab product facility is located in San Diego, California. Our corporate offices are located in San Diego and Murrieta, California.

Since the beginning, we have strived to use as much recycled and repurposed materials along with CARB certified lumber, plywoods and finishes.
